Tauzin begins as a charming gouache by Ella Maria Schmidl, preserved in the Maison's archives, its naive character intact. It is reborn here as a chenille jacquard with a supple, soft hand, which makes it particularly suited to seating and curtains. The pleasure of the cloth is the meeting of the two: an unguarded drawing given depth and comfort by a generous weave.
