Pierre Frey | Tchad – Tilleul

Tchad belongs to the great tradition of African drawings that Le Manach has published since 1928, reproducing a motif commonly found on Kuba velvets from the Congo. Hand-tufted in New Zealand wool with a beautiful alternation of cut and loop pile, the rug carries the pattern with real texture underfoot. It is a design with deep provenance, made with the patience it deserves.
