Tourbillons is a jacquard whose pattern evokes a great expanse of canework, full of charm and subtlety. The woven interlacing has the pleasing logic of the real thing — over, under, repeat — abstracted just enough to sit comfortably at furnishing scale. It is a textural pattern rather than a pictorial one, which makes it endlessly companionable: it flatters what surrounds it and never competes.
