Udaipur draws from an archived document housed within the Maison's collection, one originally inspired by Indies aesthetics. The design reinterprets an eighteenth-century sensibility through a delicate floral motif that echoes the refined appearance of lace work, a decorative language cherished during that refined period. Printed upon metis with a considered palette that echoes the subtle tonalities of cultivated flowers, the pattern demonstrates a thoughtful approach to historical reference and contemporary craft.
