Utopia is a nod to the psychedelic current of the 1960s: flowers pushed towards abstraction, playing on the retina through a deliberately blurred perception of nature and strong contrast. Printed on cotton velvet, it seems to step out of a hallucinatory dream — one is not far from the atmosphere Verner Panton conjured in 1970 with his Visiona 2 installation.
