Pierre Frey | Vesta – Stained oak, water-based varnish

Garnier & Linker conceived Vesta as an ensemble rather than a set of pieces — bridge, armchair, pouf and pedestal tables all speaking the same language of full, rounded volumes carried on a central wooden base. That base came first, and everything else followed from it. The curved veneers demand real precision, and the upholstery wraps the volumes to draw out their generosity. Named for the Roman goddess of the hearth, which tells you the intended mood.
