Vrillette is reminiscent of a fanciful alphabet, its dreamlike characters a poetic interpretation of the prints bored into wood by the insect of the same name. Drawn in the 1950s, the patterns come from the archives of the Atelier Buffile in Aix-en-Provence, where three generations of passionate ceramists have worked since 1945.
