Pierre Frey | Wexford

Wexford is a small-scale wool tartan, and at 387 g per metre it is, with Wicklow, the lightest cloth in Sequana II, soft enough to drape. That makes it the one to use for curtains, Roman blinds and loose covers as well as cushions and headboards, carrying the tweed look of the collection onto the windows. The repeat is small, 14 by 7 cm, so matching is simple. It is rated to 16,000 rubs, which suits light upholstery and occasional chairs rather than a much-used sofa. Charcoal is the most restrained colourway; Seaside, Emeraude and Tyrian are brighter plaids.
