Pierre Frey | Wicklow

Wicklow is a check laid over a tone-on-tone herringbone, so there are two scales of pattern in one cloth: the herringbone gives texture close to, and the 7 cm check gives structure from further away. It shares Wexford's light, supple weight of 387 g per metre, so it drapes well for curtains and blinds and makes up neatly as cushions and loose covers. It is rated to 16,000 rubs, suitable for light upholstery such as a headboard or an occasional chair. The three colourways are strongly coloured and look best against a plain wool such as Nova.
