Averly is the design the collection takes its name from, and it carries the story: a stylised pomegranate motif that began life as a hand-carved block, printed onto a recycled cotton and linen cloth so the small irregularities of the original carving survive into the finished fabric. That is the point of it. The pattern has the slight unevenness of something made by hand rather than the flat perfection of a digital print, and it is what stops a decorative print from looking mechanical across a large pair of curtains. The 69 cm horizontal repeat is generous, so allow for it when calculating drops.
