Celino is a cotton and linen satin woven a full three metres wide, which lets curtain-makers run seamless drops across generous windows. The satin construction gives a soft lustre on the face while the linen keeps the drape dry and unfussy; it is washable and Oeko-Tex certified. A plain in name only, since the interplay of the two fibres gives the surface a fine, grainy life at close range.
