Chiya Jacquard translates the Chiya botanical from print into weave, the motif built up in a viscose, cotton and linen mix so the flowers exist as changes in texture as well as tone. The result is subtler than the print and considerably tougher; rated severe domestic, it upholsters happily. The large repeat asks for generous pieces: a full-length curtain, a wide-backed sofa, a headboard that can carry the whole drawing.
