Cocota is an épinglé from the Parada collection, its viscose pile woven in a geometry of stripes where cut and uncut loops alternate, the old Flemish technique that gives velvet its structure back. The bands read as changes of texture more than pattern, ribbed and tactile under the hand. Rated general domestic, it suits chairs, cushions and headboards where its corded rhythm can be felt as well as seen.
