Edu is an épinglé velvet stripe from the Zephi collection, its viscose pile cut and looped in alternating bands so the stripe is felt as ribbed relief rather than read flat. The rub rating is severe contract, unusual stamina for a velvet, which opens it to banquettes and hard-working chairs as readily as sofas. Under raking light the bands deepen and the cloth shows its architecture.
