Elson is a woven stripe in a cotton-led blend with viscose and linen, the bands built into the cloth rather than printed on it, so each stripe carries its own weave and a slight change of texture. The rhythm is broad enough to be read across a room yet soft-edged enough to live with. Rated general domestic, it makes assured curtains, blinds and occasional upholstery.
