Floris is the collection's namesake print, drawn as a full-blown botanical and printed in India on a silk-blend ground. The viscose-and-silk cloth takes colourwork with unusual depth and a soft, glowing surface that ordinary cotton grounds cannot match. The repeat is generous, sized for curtains and larger panels where the design can breathe. It is a romantic cloth, but the drawing is confident enough to keep it from sweetness.
