Halsey is a textured weave from the Alston collection, a cotton-and-viscose cloth with linen in the mix, woven in Italy. It is a semi-plain in the proper sense: no pattern to speak of, but enough movement in the yarn to keep a large upholstered piece from going flat. Rub-tested to a severe contract grade, it will take family life or hotel life without complaint, which is precisely the point of it.
