Japura Velvet prints the collection's painted botanical onto a viscose-pile velvet, woven in Italy. The pile gives the design a depth no flat print can reach — colour seems to sit inside the cloth rather than on it, shifting as the light moves. Suited to cushions, headboards and occasional chairs, it is the design at its most opulent, and a little of it goes a satisfyingly long way.
