Kiku is a small-scale chenille weave from the Arturo collection, woven in Italy from a cotton, viscose and linen mix, its tiny figure raised in soft pile. Rub-tested to a severe contract grade, it is far tougher than its gentle hand suggests — a cloth for sofas that earn their living. The texture does the decorating: from any distance a rich plain, up close a fine, orderly pattern.
