Leander is a printed stripe from the Saphira collection, laid down on a cotton and linen ground with a little nylon for strength. The stripe is drawn rather than woven, so the edges keep a slight softness, the hand of the printer still present in the finished cloth. Rated for general domestic upholstery, it earns its keep on occasional chairs, blinds and curtains, bringing rhythm to a scheme without insisting on it.
