Linara is the washable linen union on which whole schemes are routinely built: cotton and linen woven into a soft, brushed plain with a faintly peached surface that asks to be touched. It is rated for severe domestic wear, machine-washable, and available in a flame-retardant version where regulations demand one. Few cloths work harder or complain less, upholstering, curtaining and cushioning with the same even temper.
