Mariola is a floral printed on a cotton and linen ground, drawn at a truly generous scale: the repeat runs to well over a metre, so stems and blooms unfold across a curtain the way they would across a garden wall. The linen union beneath gives the print a dry, natural texture. Rated for general domestic use, it is happiest where the drawing has room, on full drops and wide blinds.
