Sayula is an embroidered satin from the Ottavia collection, botanical stems stitched across a cotton-rich ground whose soft sheen sets off the matt thread of the needlework. The embroidery gives the surface a genuine relief, a pattern with shadow as well as line. Its rub count is a careful-domestic one, so keep it to curtains, cushions and occasional chairs rather than everyday seating. The cloth carries Oeko-Tex certification.
