Sesia is a wide-width jacquard damask woven entirely in Trevira CS, the inherently flame-retardant fibre, and washable besides. At well over three metres across it hangs full-height windows without a seam, and the damask patterning is carried in the weave, appearing and fading as light crosses the cloth. It is contract-minded in its specification and domestic in its manner, a practical answer for large glazing that still wants softness.
