Sylvan is a printed stripe on linen union from the Cubis collection, the cotton and linen cloth giving the bands a softly irregular, chalky edge that no flat weave could manage. It is washable, and rated at thirty thousand rubs, severe domestic, so the stripe can go to work on upholstery as readily as at the window. A stripe with a hand-finished temper, useful wherever a scheme needs a little order.
