Tibor is a semi-plain weave from the Kelso collection, spun from a cotton-led blend with linen, viscose and small amounts of acrylic and nylon. The mix is deliberate: each fibre catches the light a little differently, so the surface reads as softly mottled rather than flat, with the depth of a much more elaborate cloth. Rated at 40,000 rubs, it is a proper everyday upholstery fabric — sofas, dining chairs, window seats — that will still look considered years in.
