Tikal is a small-scale weave from the Habanera collection, worked entirely in Trevira CS, the inherently flame-retardant fibre that contract interiors rely on. The motif is tiny — a repeat of a few centimetres — so from any distance it reads as texture, which is exactly what makes it useful: pattern enough to hide wear, quiet enough to sit under stronger voices. It is washable, rated at 35,000 rubs, and as happy in a busy family room as in a hotel corridor.
