Toki is a fire-retardant velvet from the Katori collection, its small geometric pressed into a dense viscose pile so the figure is felt as much as seen. Because the motif is only a few centimetres across, it behaves almost like a textured plain at distance while rewarding a closer look. The construction earns its keep too: 50,000 rubs, severe contract, which for a decorative velvet is genuinely unusual. A sound choice where velvet is wanted on seating that will actually be sat on.
