Torben is a textured weave from the Alston collection, a semi-plain in which viscose and cotton do most of the talking, with small additions of polyester and linen roughening the grain. The result sits somewhere between a plain and a pattern: no motif, but a surface with enough movement that large expanses never go flat. It has the soft, cushioned handle of a winter cloth and is rated for general domestic use — curtains, cushions and gently used chairs.
