Trixie, from the Temperley London collaboration, is an épinglé velvet with a playful animal spot — cut and looped pile worked together so the marking sits proud of its ground and shifts in the light. Beneath the wit is serious cloth: a viscose pile on a cotton-rich base, rubbed to 100,000 Martindale, which puts it among the most durable decorative velvets in the range.
