Luminosity is the subject. A pale gold leaf is laid over an opaque textile ground, and because the leaf is light rather than heavy the wall never turns metallic. It simply carries more light than a matt surface should, which only becomes obvious when the sun moves round or the lamps go on.

Formafantasma designed it and the restraint is theirs: no pattern to speak of, one material set over another and left to do the work. A textile face on a nonwoven ground, sold by the metre at 130 cm wide, so a wall takes fewer drops than the 70 cm rolls elsewhere in the collection. Offered in a single gold. Certified to EN 13501-1 in Europe, ASTM E-84 in the United States and IMO 5 for marine work, and tested to EN 12149. Made in Italy.
