The weave is deliberately sparse. A thick slubby yarn is set at wide intervals, so there is nearly as much ground showing as there is thread, and the surface appears to drift slightly against the backing it is fixed to. That looseness is designed in rather than tolerated.
Formafantasma drew it, and the interest is in the material and the interval, not in a motif. Cloth on a nonwoven ground, sold by the metre at 130 cm wide, in two colourways. Certified to EN 13501-1, ASTM E-84 and IMO 5, and tested to EN 12149. Made in Italy. It suits a room where the wall should read as material rather than as decoration: a study, a bedroom, a hall where the joinery is doing the talking.
