The weft is slubby and deliberately interrupted, so coloured striations run across a rustic ground that is white in every version, which is how bark actually looks: colour broken over pale wood rather than laid evenly across it. Formafantasma designed it.
The fibre is a solution-dyed polyester, flame retardant and anti-UV, and it comes close enough to a natural cloth to pass at arm's length while behaving nothing like one. 52,000 Martindale rubs, colour fastness to light of 7 out of 8, certified for contract curtains and upholstery in the UK, M1, B1, Classe 1, IMO 8 for marine and EN 13501-1 for use on walls. 630 g at 145 cm, eight colourways, made in Italy.
