The design began as a photograph taken in a meadow of chamomile, and something of the photograph survives: flowers at the density they had in the field, scattered and slightly out of order rather than arranged. The repeat is small at 19 by 22.5 cm, so the effect stays close to the original scale.
It is woven in viscose with polyamide, and Rubelli class it among their eco-sustainable fabrics. 20,000 Martindale rubs puts it with the decorating cloths, though Rubelli rate it for frequent use: curtains, cushions, a bedroom chair, a headboard. 135 cm wide, five colourways, made in Italy.
