Moire comes from pressure and heat rather than from anything done on the loom: a mechanical finish, no chemistry involved, that leaves a watermark in the cloth and never leaves the same one twice. Here it sits on a viscose, cotton and linen ground at 440 g, and the undulations catch light along one axis and go quiet on the other.
