A digital print that reproduces the weave structure of the document it came from, so the printed cloth carries the appearance of a woven one: the ground shows what look like floats and bindings that are not there. Printed onto a silk grosgrain, whose own rib runs through all of it, the effect doubles.
Into that historical pattern Rubelli have set painted flowers, the same ones used in the Sally print, and they are what brings an archive document forward. Cotton with silk and viscose at 330 g, a 77 cm vertical repeat, two colourways. Curtains, blinds and cushions. Made in Italy, 135 cm wide.
