It began as a watercolour and the print keeps the looseness of one. Floral elements are dissolved almost to abstraction, their edges soft where a woven damask would have given them a hard line. The silky ground beneath is borrowed from the Chiaroscuro damask, and the name earns itself, since the whole design is a matter of light set against dark.
Vinyl on a paper base, 70 cm wide in 10-metre rolls, with a deep 86 cm vertical repeat to allow for. Three colourways. Certified to EN 13501-1, ASTM E-84 and IMO 5. Made in Italy.
