Small cloud forms in low relief, set out densely enough that the surface reads as weather rather than as pattern. The depth comes from very slight differences of shade within each colourway rather than from contrast: the eye takes the tonal shift for shadow, and the relief looks deeper than it is.
It is a chenille jacquard at 850 g, the weight of a serious upholstery cloth, with 80,000 Martindale rubs behind it. Flame-retardant, washable, certified for contract upholstery and curtains across the UK, France, Germany and Italy with IMO 8 for marine use. A sofa in daily use is the right place for it.
