The grid is built from curved lines rather than straight ones, so the discipline of a damask is present but nothing in it sits still. Across a 63 by 67.5 cm repeat that produces a slow movement over the surface of a curtain, most visible where the cloth is gathered.
Trevira CS throughout at 300 g, light enough to fall well, and one of the few damasks that will pass a contract specification without a treatment applied afterwards: certified for curtains and upholstery in the UK, France, Germany and Italy, with IMO 8 at sea. Rubelli intend it for drapery, residential or contract. Nine colourways, 135 cm wide, made in Italy.
