Two different satin weaves alternate down the stripe, so the rhythm is structural as well as chromatic: one band throws light back, the next absorbs it, and the sequence holds even where two adjacent shades are close together. The horizontal repeat is 34 cm, a quarter of the width, so the stripe steps evenly across the cloth.
Cotton with silk, light at 240 g, and each of the five colourways carries several shades at once. It was made to sit with other cloths in the collection and does that willingly. Curtains, blinds and cushions. 135 cm wide, made in Italy.
