Lace worked in metal is the nearest description: an open, fine-lined figure with a dull shine to it, drawn large but kept light enough that it never takes a room over. The surface is deliberately imperfect, oxidised and slightly abraded, the way a gilded wall goes after a few decades of being left alone.
Cloth on a nonwoven ground, sold by the metre at 135 cm wide, with an 85 cm vertical and 67.5 cm horizontal repeat. That is generous in both directions and should be costed into the quantity from the start. Five colourways. Tested to EN 12149. Made in Italy.
