Lace redrawn as graphic pattern, and the relief that lace gets from its own openwork is produced here by a crepe yarn, twisted hard enough to stand up off the ground. The effect is legible in raking light and almost flat in dull light, which makes it a fabric that changes through the day.
Trevira CS, so flame-retardant by fibre, and certified to IMO 8, to Italian Classe 1 for curtains and to California TB117. The repeat runs 48 cm down and 66.7 cm across, close to half the 135 cm width. Rubelli rates it for light use: curtains, blinds, cushions, a chair that is looked at more than sat in. Nine colourways.
