Silk organza at 100 g, which is about as little cloth as a curtain can be made from, embroidered with metallic yarn and sequins. The stitches cross each other irregularly so the surface is never flat, and the sequins sit at different depths: with a window behind it the ground disappears and what remains is a scattering of small bright points at several distances from the eye.

Metallic yarn and sequin account for better than a third of its weight, which is a great deal for a fabric this light. It is 130 cm wide and made in one version only. A decorative sheer for a window that deserves the attention, rather than a working curtain. Woven in India.
