A faux uni that iridesces: cotton with cupro and viscose worked so the surface catches light unevenly, in the way engraved glass does. Rubelli had Murano in mind, and Carlo Scarpa's glass in particular, where the interest is always in what a surface does to light rather than in the colour itself.
That is why the twenty-two colourways stay subtle. An iridescent cloth needs a quiet ground to be read at all. 290 g at 140 cm, made in Italy.
