Small boats, figures fishing, mountains sketched in a few strokes: the subjects come from a paper print of 1936 and keep its faintly instructional air, as though the scene were there to teach you something about the place. The light in it is the light of the last hour before sunset, which is where the name comes from and why the whole design has been given a metallic finish.
The vertical repeat is short at 31 cm, so the scenes stack quickly and the fabric behaves as an allover rather than as a panel.
