The illusion is one of wear: a metallic lamina laid over a traditional floral, then rubbed back so the pattern shows through only where the covering has gone. The ground has the slubbed, irregular sheen of shantung, which keeps the whole thing from looking too neatly staged.
Printed and embossed vinyl on a heavy nonwoven base, washable and scratch-resistant, in five colourways. A full metre wide in 10-metre rolls with a 53 cm vertical repeat, and the extra width means fewer joins on the wall, which matters on a design meant to look continuous. Certified to EN 13501-1, ASTM E-84 and IMO 5. Made in Italy.
