Wool and cotton in almost equal measure, with viscose, silk and a little polyamide behind them, which is a great many fibres to get into one plain-looking cloth. Each takes dye differently, and that is what produces the broken, natural colour of the surface: it looks handled rather than finished.
50,000 Martindale rubs and a heavy-use rating from Rubelli. At 130 cm it is narrower than most, so allow for that when cutting. Seven colourways, all of them in the neutral half of the spectrum. Made in Italy.
