Moss is the reference, and chenille is the right yarn for it: cut fibre standing out from a core, giving a soft raised surface with no gloss of its own. Here it is worked against a shiny ground, so the design appears as a change in depth rather than in colour.
The horizontal repeat is 136 cm, the full width of the cloth, so the design runs selvedge to selvedge without repeating across. 690 g, 45,000 Martindale rubs, and twenty colourways weighted heavily towards greens, stones and earths. Made in Italy.
