Palm fronds, possibly Kentia, stand out luminous against a ground of overlapping silhouettes, and the model is Japanese lacquer: depth built from layers of gloss and matt rather than from any change of colour. It works best somewhere a light source moves across it during the day.
The vertical repeat is long at 97 cm, with the horizontal at 67.5 cm, half the 135 cm width, so the design needs a full drop to show what it does. Both the polyamide and the viscose in it are the eco versions of those yarns. 370 g and rated for light use. The five colourways are widely spaced, which is unusual for a design that depends this much on surface rather than on colour. Made in Italy.
