Broad palm fronds in the foreground, kentia at a guess, with everything behind them dropped into silhouette. The design comes from the Java lampas and keeps its logic: metallic shapes laid over opaque ones, so depth is made by reflectance rather than by shading, and the effect ends up closer to Japanese lacquerwork than to a botanical print.
Rotogravure printed on a nonwoven ground, 70 cm wide in 10-metre rolls, with a 95 cm vertical repeat. Four colourways. Certified to EN 13501-1 and ASTM E-84, and tested to EN 12149. Made in Italy.
